Galvanized steel wire ropes
Steel
wire ropes are used in construction, industry, transport, agriculture
and other sectors. They are used for lifting and moving loads,
suspending, securing structures, as load-bearing elements in various
types of devices and machines.
Our steel ropes are
produced on braiding machines ensuring high quality of the rope after
forming.
Our offer includes steel wire ropes with a
polypropylene fiber core (FC) and full steel core (IWRC), in classes
1770N~1960N
Our steel wire ropes are
available in diameters from 1 to 20 mm, on small and large reels.
Characteristic
of rope construction:
1x7: Steel
ropes with a single-strand 1x7 are stiff ropes, not very flexible to
bending, but very resistant to axial stretching. Due to the larger
diameter of the wires at the same nominal diameter of the rope, they
are more resistant to abrasion of the strands than the 1x19 structure.
They are used where the rope works mainly in tension, for example as
brake and gas cables, tensioning cables, mast guy lines, antenna
structure tensioning cables, for suspension.
1x19:
Steel ropes of this structure are more flexible than the 1x7 structure,
their application is similar.
6x7:
Steel ropes with the 6x7+FC strand have medium elasticity and greater
abrasion resistance than the 6x19+FC structure due to the greater
thickness of the wires in the outer layer.
6x19:
Steel ropes 6x19 are used where the most flexibility is required for
work using blocks, pulleys, for small winches at normal work intensity.
6x37:
6x37 steel ropes are characterized by lower abrasion resistance than
other structures due to the presence of a large number of small wires
in the outer layer, but they are very flexible. They are used in the
shipbuilding, mining, construction and agriculture industries.
+FC:
The presence of this suffix in the description of the rope structure,
in the case of steel wire ropes supplied by Góralmet, means a rope with
an inner polypropylene fiber core. Ropes with a fiber core are more
flexible than ropes with a steel core, but less resistant to transverse
loads and stretching
+IWRC: The
presence of this suffix in the description of the rope structure, in
the case of steel wire ropes supplied by Góralmet, means a rope with an
inner core in the form of an independent steel strand.
